Úna Dillon Named Regional Director, Europe for the PCI Security Standards Council

Longtime Payment Industry Executive to Lead European Efforts for PCI SSC

WAKEFIELD, Mass., 18 August 2025 — The PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC), a global standards body for the payment card industry, announced today that Úna Dillon has been named Regional Director, Europe for PCI SSC. As Regional Director, Úna will serve as the primary liaison with European payment security stakeholders. In this role, she will drive awareness and growth of the Council with an emphasis on educating stakeholders on the importance of data security for payments and supporting the adoption of PCI SSC standards within the European region.

Úna brings more than 28 years of experience in the payments industry to the Council. Over the last nine years, Úna has served at the Merchant Risk Council (MRC) where she held multiple roles including Managing Director MRC Europe, VP Global Expansion, and leading their advocacy function globally. As Vice President Advocacy, she navigated complex regulatory landscapes, drove payment fraud prevention strategies, and created opportunities for innovative payment solution providers across the ecosystem.

Úna lives in Greystones, Ireland with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys walking, swimming, flying airplanes, collecting antiques, hosting dinner parties, and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She is also proficient in five languages.
