WAKEFIELD, Mass. and LONDON, October 20, 2011 — The PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC), a global, open industry standards body providing management of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), PIN Transaction Security Requirements (PTS) and the Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS), today announced the successful completion of its 4th annual Community Meetings and the start of the next phase of development for the newest versions of the PCI DSS, PA-DSS and supplemental guidance on technologies and processes in payments security.
